Some years ago, I have decided to create, for my own use, a list of quotations of Roman coins, interesting iconographically or historically, in order to help me to find the prices of the market quickly. The present list of the coins includes some coins mainly to high value historic or artistic, as well as some more common coins, that can act as reference for the most often meet coins of such or such emperor. We have the intention to add coins regularly to this list, so that this website becomes more and more complete.

Above all, I am anxious to thank my wife, Gina, for the work that she did on this website, for the encouragements and opinions that she gave to me and also to have supported that her husband spends an enormous time before a computer to finalize an excessive project. I thank all people who participated closely or from afar to this project and those that encouraged us to pursue. I also thank the houses of sale that allowed us to use their photographs in order to illustrate our site. Finally, I thank the other enthusiasts who place a lot of information at disposal of the Internet, those even that give their time, and often of their deniers, to share their passions, that they are of history, ancient coins, or ancient texts.
